I made this Composition book today....and i am going to send it off to a lucky someone who comments about some of their fav things to create with stencils, on this post....I will have Miss Maddy pull the winner tomorrow after school....Kind of a spur of the moment thingy.
There are soooo many layers to look at...starting with the collage of vintage book pages, spray painted stencils, and some secret paint techniques over the stencils....suffice it to say your book is very shimmery in person. my hope is that you will use it to hold your inspirations for creativity.
The stencil process...i love the sound of spray paint!
I made a video of the stencil process....i love getting my "graffiti" on!
SO if you want the book put your comment below....and i will film miss maddy picking out the winner tomorrow night before bed. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

I really hope I'm not too late to enter. I love using stencils on almost everything, but particularly on my gift tags, journal covers and even on glass mirror tiles. Such fun! I would really love to win this journal as I know I would fill it with all things that inspire me in my art! Love love love your techniques with stencils Marah. Smiles from NZ

This is so cool, I love how you layer the stencils. I've always done stenciling the boring way but I'm getting so many new ideas from you. Thank you so much for perking up my dull backgrounds.

This is so beautiful! I like to use lace on old book pages (hmm where did I learn THAT?!),plastic stencils with ink pads, handmade stencils using glimmer mist, twinkling h20's and paint. The possibilities are endless!

I have been trying all kinds of mediums... Dressmakers paper, newsprint. I love to reuse an item in a different way!

I use color wash spray over stencils to cover up stains on my t-shirts! (such a klutz, had to fix it somehow!)
